Mind
|
 This is a introduction to your mind as A Course In Miracles. All your perceptions and all your memories are made up. They are not true and in fact never existed. There is no link of memory to the past. What you want to be there is there by your request.
When you start to experience the power of your Mind to enter into true communication with God and everything in the universe, you would no longer want to chained to a body in time and space. The peace of Mind that comes from being truly open Minded will bring rest unto your Soul.
To believe you are a body is to believe the mind is impotent. Yet Mind is the maker of decision and the body simply the vehicle. Therefore, all power is given you, in Heaven and on Earth.

"To DO anything involves the body. And, if you recognize you NEED do nothing, you HAVE withdrawn the body’s value from your mind. Here is a quick and open door through which you slip past centuries of effort, and ESCAPE from time." |

Dream
|
 This is an introduction to A Course In Miracles and dreams. Why is it that fantasy dreams are seen as more enjoyable or beneficial than a dream of fear? Surely they would be the same. A Course in Miracles teaches you will be given a "happy dream" from which you awaken, but it will still be just a dream.
You are the dreamer of the dream. In that sense you are the only one that needs to awaken. In this dream, of time and space, life and death and the myriad of different stories you can envisage yourself in, waking up is the only real thing you can do here. And now is the only time in which that can occur.
Why would you wait, in a dream of death and fear, when all of Heaven awaits your return? You have, in fact, gone past this dream and always and only ever reside where God would have you be. Sleep no more. The dream, the dreamer and the dreaming of the world lasted but an instant in eternity and had no effect at all upon the Mind of God's one Son. |

Eternity
|
 This is an introduction to Eternity/Time and A Course In Miracles. We all know that time is made up; it's an illusion. Yet the idea of eternity for most just seems to be a hell of a lot of time, which is exactly the opposite of eternity.
When we talk about "being in the present", or in "the now", we are actually talking about eternity. Eternity of the universe is all the time there is, which in fact, is only an instant. The human mind simply chops that instant up, sets it in a circle of birth, life, death and afterlife. Yet it's all a single instant of time, experienced as life times.
The reason you need the light of the reasonability of the Mind training of A Course In Miracles is because you constantly sequence your time intervals. And you get sick and old and then you die. But the training or transformation of your mind will bring you into a new "time frame", one in which you can see that all time IS going on ALL THE TIME.
A Course In Miracles is replete with ideas about time and eternity. I hope this site will help to bring YOUR ideas about time into greater focus for you as you undergo this amazing transformation. |
