God

 This is an introduction to God and A Course In Miracles. "Know Thy Self" is one of the most common statements one can come across in their personal search for meaning, in this world. If God, however you define that, is the Source of everything then surely He can't be too hard to find. Yet why does He seem so elusive? Maybe He isn't hiding, you are.
A Course In Miracles and God are actually synonymous. I would like to bring together in a simple format all that encompasses the idea of God from a universal experience, which is expressed in a myriad of voices and A Course In Miracles.
At present, 99% of the world's population has never heard of A Course In Miracles, yet everyone in their own way are searching for God, whether they know it or not. For in the end, your Self is all you are going to find. This WILL be your home coming. This WILL be the instant of time it took for you to see that you are and have always been forever at Home in God.
God is a fact and you are Gods Son. To know the Source of all Reality truly is to Know Thy Self. And as you experience the Will of God as what your total freedom is, then the Kingdom of God will and is restored to you in its entirety. The Source of all the universe is a God of Love and you are not, nor could you ever be, separate from that.

Dream
|
|
 You are the dreamer of the dream. And as the dreamer you have the power of decision to end the end or to continue sleeping. But remember, cause and effect are not separate, so in your decision lies all of salvation, for you and the world.
Here's Jesus, talking about the dreamer, you.
"He is not healed. He merely had a dream that he was sick, and in the dream he found a magic formula to make him well. Yet he has not awakened from the dream, and so his mind remains exactly as it was before. He has not seen the light that would awaken him and end the dream. What difference does the content of a dream make in reality? One either sleeps or wakens. There is nothing in between.
The happy dreams the Holy Spirit brings are different from the dreaming of the world, where one can merely dream he is awake. The dreams forgiveness lets the mind perceive do not induce another form of sleep, so that the dreamer dreams another dream. His happy dreams are heralds of the dawn of truth upon the mind. They lead from sleep to gentle waking, so that dreams are gone. And thus they cure for all eternity.
Atonement heals with certainty, and cures all sickness. For the mind which understands that sickness can be nothing but a dream is not deceived by forms the dream may take..."
So as you waken from this dream of death you will no longer tolerate any forms of sickness and death to occupy your Mind.

 How simple is the truth. In my ever deepening relationship with Jesus, I am always surprised by how new His expression is. He is constantly reasurring me that the way is clearly defined and that He walks with me and is appearing, physically, all the time, in an attempt to show me that, knowing God is about about knowing my brother, which is really about knowing myself, because my brother IS myself and God is Forever the Cause of All. Here's what Jesus says in A Course In Miracles;
"My trust in you is greater than yours in me at the moment, but it will not always be that way. Your mission is very simple. You are asked to live so as to demonstrate that you are not an ego, and I do not choose God's channels wrongly. The Holy One shares my trust, and accepts my Atonement decisions because my will is never out of accord with His. I have said before that I am in charge of the Atonement. This is only because I completed my part in it as a man, and can now complete it through others. My chosen channels cannot fail, because I will lend them my strength as long as theirs is wanting.
I will go with you to the Holy One, and through my perception He can bridge the little gap. Your gratitude to your brother is the only gift I want. I will bring it to God for you, knowing that to know your brother is to know God. If you are grateful to your brother, you are grateful to God for what He created. Through your gratitude you come to know your brother, and one moment of real recognition makes everyone your brother because each of them is of your Father. Love does not conquer all things, but it does set all things right. Because you are the Kingdom of God I can lead you back to your own creations. You do not recognize them now, but what has been dissociated is still there." |
